Eye color of offspring if male has blue eyes and femlae has brown eyes??

It is definitely brown. Both of my children are brown eyed after my wife.....I have the recessive blue (now the only blue eyes in the family).Eye color of offspring if male has blue eyes and femlae has brown eyes??
It is a lot more complex than that. If you have had even a single person in your genetic background have blue eyes there is a chance of having a child with blue eyes. The same with any other eye color, I just used blue as an example since it is the most recessive... continued... Report Abuse

For example in China a long time ago white people most likely coming from somewhere around where Russia is today had offspring with some of the people there. And even though almost every person there ends up having brown eyes, a rare person will be born with green or blue... continued... Report Abuse

These sites explain it better. I would write more but I鈥檓 going to bed. For the wiki site look at what they looked at when researching what they wrote. Some of the links are really informational.

I'm not certain about the punnett square. Report Abuse

Brown. Brown is the dominant gene, Blue is definitely quite recessive.
Half will have blue and half will have brown according to the punnett square. In actuality it may differ as blue is a recessive trait.
the child could have blue brown or green all depends on the genes
blue is recessive

so 1/4 chance
