How long before a new born babies eye color changes?

his eyes are still blueHow long before a new born babies eye color changes?
Question: Will my baby's eyes stay this color?

Answer: Maybe, maybe not. Babies of African and Asian descent are usually born with brown eyes that stay brown. Caucasian babies are often born with steel gray or dark blue eyes; they may stay gray or blue or turn green, hazel, or brown by the time they're 9 months old. That's because a child's irises (the colored part of the eye) may gain more pigment in the months after she's born, but they won't get ';lighter'; or more blue. (Green, hazel, and brown eyes actually have more pigment than grey or blue eyes, even if they appear lighter in color.)How long before a new born babies eye color changes?
till this day my daughter has had the same colour eyes sence she was born and that was a year ago
I think every baby is different, most change color before their first birthday. My daughter is 2 and her eyes are turning a lot darker than what they were.
A babies eyes can change all the way up until there 6-8 months old.

My daughters eyes were a real pretty blue at 6 months old and by 8 months they had turned Hazel.

I was disappointed.

So it takes up to 6-8 months.

You'll just have to wait and see.
Maybe his eyes are supposed to be blue. It takes about a month.
somtimes it can take for the baby to be 2 it depends,it's different for all babies some longer some shorter. You just have to wait and see
it can take anywhere up to a year.

The film over a babies eyes will make a lighter colour appear darker. So if its a light blue, they have already changed.
My kids eyes turned to hazel at about 4 months... and stayed that way until they were all about 12... then changed to a lighter versions of hazel and green eyes.
If the baby is going to have a different color eyes.. anywhere from 3-8 months they will change. It will be subtle, not all at once a sudden change to brown or anything.
